  • Continuing Medicaid Coverage

As the COVID-19 pandemic ends, waivers that prevented Medicaid recipients from having to annually re-certify are ending and many people are at risk for losing coverage. To update your information to ensure continued Medicaid coverage through the state of PA, click here.

Service Information

Onsite vs Telehealth: Participants are able to state a preference for whether in-person, telehealth, or a combination of both works best for them. New participants should talk to intake staff and/or their assigned intake evaluator about their preference for receiving on-site or telehealth services at their intake session.

Emergencies: If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call the Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disability Services' crisis line by dialing 988 (the new national mental health crisis number) or 215-685-6440 (available 24 hours per day) or visit this website for more options.

JJPI helps children, adults, and families heal from trauma and build better, more meaningful lives. Your tax-deductible gift can make a life-changing, and life-saving, difference for those impacted and unable to move forward in their lives due to their experiences.

We are able to provide this help thanks to the generous support we receive from people like you.

JJPI’s funding comes primarily from city and state agencies, with whom we have fee-for-service contracts to provide behavioral health services to low-income individuals--who often have the greatest need for treatment and the fewest resources. Unfortunately, the funding we receive is not enough on its own to allow us to provide these much needed services using state of the art proven treatments and at the highest quality level. Doing so requires funding to hire, train, and supervise clinicians, and to collect and analyze data to determine our effectiveness.

You can choose to contribute to our Survivor Services program to help support the survivors of trauma who show incredible strength every day as they look to overcome the obstacles in their path; our Safety & Responsibility program, where our goal is to end the cycle of abuse and to make our communities safer; or our community outreach, prevention, and education programs. If you prefer not to choose a specific JJPI program, we will earmark your contribution to our general operating fund, where we can use funds to support all of our programs.
