Clinical Services

For over seventy years, Joseph J. Peters Institute has been helping to keep our community safe by successfully treating individuals with sexual behavior problems and/or a history of conviction for sexual offenses. More recently, we have expanded the services provided in our Adult Safety & Responsibility (SRP) program by treating individuals who have engaged in relational violence. These services are provided at our 1211 Chestnut Street location in Center City Philadelphia.

JJPI has over sixty years of experience in providing treatment for survivors of sexual abuse and sexual violence. Since 2013, we have provided treatment for survivors of all types of trauma at our Survivor Services program, which is located at 100 South Broad Street in Center City Philadelphia.

In recent years, JJPI has added several new areas of specialty, including perinatal mental health and infant and early childhood mental health services.

In all of our programs, JJPI recognizes that true healing begins when an individual finds hope. We work to build that hope through trusted relationships between individuals and clinicians and through the provision of evidence-based expert clinical care.
