Payment for Services

JJPI contracts with Medicaid-funded behavioral health managed care organizations (BHMCOs) in Philadelphia and surrounding Pennsylvania counties for eligible residents.

At our Center City locations, we contract with the following behavioral health managed care organizations:

  • Philadelphia County residents: Community Behavioral Health (CBH)
  • Bucks and Montgomery County Residents: Magellan of Pennsylvania
  • Delaware, Chester, Berks, and York County Residents: Community Care Behavioral Health (CCBH)

At our Delaware County location, we contract with the following behavioral health managed care organizations:

  • Philadelphia County residents: Community Behavioral Health (CBH)
  • Delaware and Chester County Residents: Community Care Behavioral Health (CCBH)

JJPI's Market Street, Vaux, and Carnell School locations only contract with CBH (for Philadelphia County residents).

For some of our participants by prior arrangement, JJPI receives payment from the Federal Bureau of Prisons and the Department of Corrections.

We do not contract with commercial insurance providers (and are therefore considered an out-of-network provider for those companies). For individuals with commercial insurance, we accept self-payment at the time of service, and can provide documentation needed for you to file a claim with your insurance company. Please contact your insurance carrier to determine if you have out-of-network benefits.

For individuals with Medicaid-funded behavioral health coverage, it is important that you update your contact information with the State of PA if your phone number or address changes. You may also be required to complete a required re-application at least one time per year to avoid a lapse in your coverage.
