Specialized Services for Survivors of Sexual Abuse

The Joseph J. Peters Institute focuses on helping individuals and families heal. JJPI is a regional leader in providing trauma treatment services and therapeutic care to child, adolescent, and adult survivors of sexual violence (and to the subset of sexual abuse survivors who have been victims of human trafficking). Treatment is provided at our Survivor Services location at 100 Broad Street, 17th floor, in Center City Philadelphia.

Individuals seeking help at JJPI’s Survivor Services program will experience treatment that is compassionate and restorative. Treatment begins with a comprehensive evaluation and assignment to a clinician based on participant preference, fit, experience, and clinician availability.

When a child survivor is referred, JJPI can also screen caregivers for trauma and can offer comprehensive services for additional family members if needed.
