Dawn’s Place
JJPI offers psychotherapy services to residents at Dawn’s Place, a residential housing program for women recovering from the trauma of sex trafficking and exploitation. JJPI provides both group and individual treatment at Dawn’s Place two days per week, through a Survivor Services Clinician embedded at the shelter.
Dawn’s Place is a year-long program combining intensive therapy with residential programming to provide adult survivors of trauma with the opportunity to learn how to become self-supporting and live independently. Residential Staff is available 24 hours per day, seven days per week and residents have access to a case manager and pro bono legal aid. There is capacity for eight residents in the main house and up to 4 women in the adjacent transitional house, where support is provided to individuals as they move to permanent independent housing.
Referrals are made directly through Dawn’s Place. If you are, or know, a resident of Dawn’s Place and are interested in a referral to the program, please reach out to your case manager.
