MIND

Mental Health Initiative for Nurturing Development (MIND) is designed to enhance child development and improve infant and early childhood mental health. The program, funded by the William Penn Foundation, is a collaboration between JJPI and its program partners, the National Nurse-Led Care Consortium (NNCC) and Wonderspring, an early childhood education provider.

Through MIND, JJPI provides:

  • Infant and early childhood mental health treatment services to children
  • Supportive services for caregivers designed to strengthen parent-child relationships
  • Evidenced-based therapy models, including Parent-Child CARE (PC-CARE) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
  • Services offered in families’ homes, on-site at partners’ locations, and at JJPI’s locations

Referrals to MIND are made directly through our program partners. If you are a participant in NNCC's Philly Montco Family Center Parents as Teachers home visiting program or have a child enrolled in Wonderspring's early childhood education programs in Philadelphia and are interested in a referral to the program, please reach out to a staff member from your program.
