Clinical Training Program
For over 60 years, JJPI has served as a clinical training site for therapists in the Philadelphia region. We continue to partner with universities from across the region to provide an intensive year-long clinical internship program, which begins in July and ends in June. The program follows a cohort model that includes weekly didactic seminars and group supervision, along with weekly individual supervision. We offer placements at our three main programs in Center City Philadelphia: Survivor Services, Youth Safety and Responsibility, and Adult Safety and Responsibility. Please note: JJPI's internships are a full year in length. We do not provide the option for semester-length or six-month clinical internships.
Required Qualifications:
- Enrolled as a master’s or doctoral student in social work, counseling, or psychology
- At least one year of clinical experience
- The student will have completed their first year of graduate work by the start of the internship in July

- Weekly onsite attendance for didactic seminars on Friday mornings
- Available for onsite placement, training, and service provision up to three days per week
